Rachel Murley, M.S.

Rachel Murley provides evaluations and counseling services to children and adolescents at Summit Center’s Walnut Creek office. She is currently a fifth-year doctoral student at Palo Alto University working towards her Ph.D. In addition to Summit Center, Rachel works in a research lab at UCSF that focuses on the features of autism including speech production and neuropsychological evaluations. Rachel previously worked at a community mental health center, providing individual and group therapy at an elementary school in Santa Clara County, where she also led social emotional learning groups and developed an anti-bullying program. Rachel is trained in CBT and psychodynamic therapy. She is currently working on her dissertation, which examines the prevalence of hyperfocusing in children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She earned a B.S. in Biology and Research Psychology from the University of Michigan, and an M.S. in Psychology and Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University.
