She also speaks to teachers about identifying and educating gifted and twice-exceptional students in the classroom. Other clinical interests include the social and emotional development of gifted and twice-exceptional children and children with learning disabilities and ADHD. For seven summers, Dr. White worked at Camp Summit, an overnight camp for gifted and 2e kids. Dr. White earned her Ph.D. at the California School of Professional Psychology, where her doctoral dissertation research explored parent-child interactions in families with gifted children. Dr. White is also experienced in working with families with twins and higher-order multiples, and for 13 years she led a support group for expectant and new parents of twins. She is also the parent of young-adult gifted/2e twins.
