Briana English provides evaluations and counseling services for children and adolescents at Summit Center’s Walnut Creek office. She is a third-year doctoral student at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, working towards her Psy.D., with a child and family emphasis. Briana’s previous clinical experiences were in outpatient clinics serving diverse populations. In these clinics, Briana provided psychotherapy to couples, children, and families through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strength-based, and narrative therapy lens. She also conducted neurodevelopmental assessments for children ages 1 through adulthood, specializing in autism but also assessing for ADHD, language disorders, intellectual impairments, anxiety, and depression.
 
Briana provided intakes, anger management groups, and psychotherapy at Alameda Family Services for one year. She completed her second year placement conducting neuropsychological assessments at the Autism Center of Northern California.  She is expected to complete her doctorate in 2025.
