Olivia McDonald provides psychological assessment and therapy to children and adolescents at Summit Center. Olivia is a sixth-year graduate student at John F. Kennedy University pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her previous clinical training includes psychotherapy informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, attachment, and play therapy techniques in the San Ramon Valley Elementary School District and Uplift Family Services. Olivia also has a background in utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and sand tray approaches. She additionally spent two years providing diagnostic, developmental, and behavioral assessments. Olivia has served children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental delays, ADHD, anxiety, and depression among other behavior and mood disorders. Olivia earned her B.A. in psychology from Drury University and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota School of Professional Psychology-Argosy.
