Currently entering her fourth year of training at the University of San Francisco, Ane is pursuing a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a personal focus on neuropsychological assessment and evidence-based interventions.
Ane’s previous clinical training includes providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for patients dealing with substance abuse at Alta Mira Recovery Center. At Alta Mira, she specialized in assessing cognitive and psychological functions and superimposing that information with personality to tailor individualized treatment plans that addressed both addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. In addition, Ane gained valuable experience as a clinician at a high school in South San Francisco, where she worked with adolescents. She provided therapy and support to students facing a variety of challenges, including academic and family stress, social issues, trauma, and mental health concerns. Her approach in these settings emphasized evidence-based practices, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities to promote resilience and emotional well-being among her clients.
Ane’s work is grounded in a commitment to understanding the unique needs of each individual, employing a strengths-based and client-centered approach. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment that encourages growth and positive change.
