SENG Parent Groups

Supporting the Emotional Needs of Gifted (SENG) Model groups are guidance groups for parents. The groups provide a forum for parents of gifted children to gain exposure to a variety of parent-child experiences and to gain insight into how their parenting styles and techniques can impact their child’s behavior and development. The groups provide a safe place to freely talk about their child’s development, their parenting concerns, and gain support from others who share their experiences. The focus of the group is on practical solutions to meet the social and emotional needs of gifted children, and the parents who raise them.
