Nicole Messuri provides child, individual, and family therapy at Summit Center in Costa Mesa. Nicole is also on staff at Reid Day School, a school specializing in serving students who demonstrate twice exceptionality, where she provides social, emotional, and positive behavior support for students and families. (She also serves on the school’s Board of Directors.) Additionally, Nicole provides psychotherapy at the Mind Health Institute (MHI), a medical group practice, where she collaborates with top leaders in the field of psychiatry and psychology at MHI’s Newport Beach and Mission Viejo locations. For over ten years, Nicole has had a special interest in working with families of children, adolescents, and teens with Anxiety, Depression, Autism, ADHD, and Giftedness, who struggle with co-occurring conditions including problem behaviors, perfectionism, academic and social challenges, bullying, marital/parental stress, and sibling issues. Prior to Nicole’s career in psychology, she worked as an elementary school teacher and as a Certified Traditional Naturopath. Throughout her career in psychology, Nicole has held various positions as a psychotherapist, a behavior analyst, and as a clinical supervisor for several mental health facilities in Los Angeles. Nicole uses her expertise and training in education, marriage and family therapy, and behavior analysis to individually tailor therapeutic programs that address the needs of each client. Her supportive, strength based approach focuses on building self-esteem, self-awareness, empathy, social, coping, and communication skills, and providing practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
