Brennan Whitley is a member of Summit Center’s Doctoral Training Program, offering therapy, counseling, and assessment appointments at reduced fees under the supervision of Dr. Lisa White and Dr. Stephen Chou. Brennan is a fourth year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology, who specializes in working with children, teens, and their families. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and a M.S from the Wright Institute. Brennan previously worked at Alameda Family Services providing family and individual counseling and at Encompass Elementary School providing child counseling. She has also conducted assessments with children, teens, and young adults experiencing learning, attention, and social difficulties through the Wright Institute Assessment Service. Brennan’s professional interests include assessment with twice-exceptional youth, counseling with children and teens who are experiencing anxiety, and working with members of the LGBT community. Brennan values collaborating with families to support each of their strengths.
